Baseline 50001 provides the capability to integrate with existing metering systems (M & T, BMS, SCADA, etc) set up real and active energy performance indicators for monitor actual to expected energy consumption automatically and prompt for investigation when actual energy consumption is outside of the expected levels. It also provides a mechanism for effective planning and carrying out of internal audits, management reviews etc.
